How Do I Become a Catholic?

If you've ever wondered, "How do I become Catholic?" you're not alone.  The Holy Spirit is gently guiding you and, we're here to support you.

To begin, simply reach out to your parish office.  They'll introduce you to local resources and help you connect with our welcoming community.

You can also inquire about upcoming RCIA classes.  RCIA, short for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, offers insightful classes on Church teachings, sacraments, and Scripture.  It's a space where questions are encouraged, and you'll meet others on a similar journey.

If you haven't been baptized, RCIA will prepare you for the sacraments of Christian initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist, often celebrated at the Easter Vigil.  If you were baptized in another Christian denomination, RCIA will guide you into full communion with the Catholic Church through Confirmation and the Eucharist.

The course duration varies by parish, typically involving weekly classes over several months.  You'll also have the opportunity to choose a sponsor, or we can provide one for you.  Your sponsor will walk with you during the sacraments and offer unwavering support through prayer.
